Membership & Activities

We have many member activities including Art, Whist, Needlecraft, Bridge, Folk Dancing, Scrabble, Table Tennis, Darts, Poetry, Singers, Cribbage, Carpet bowls, and so much more.  In fact, with up to twenty FCA volunteer led activities every week, we are sure to have something to appeal. It's a great way to make new friends and new members are always very welcome. And remember, membership is only 57p/week! (£30 annual)

 

Our centre is run by volunteers and we are always on the look out for new faces, please come in to see us if you are interested in helping out.

 

Hall & Room Hire

We have various size rooms and a large hall available for hire.  Perfect for your family parties and gatherings, with a fully licenced bar, PA sound system, Big screen TV and full table set-up included for any event. Tea & Coffee Bar

The Tea and Coffee Bar is open

Monday - Thursday -  10.00am - 4.00pm. 

Friday 10.00am - 10.00pm.

Saturday 10.00am - 10.00pm.

Non-members are always welcome to call in for a cuppa.

 

Licensed Bar

The Licensed Bar is available for Members, Guests Being Signed In By A member and Hall & Room Hirers.

Open Times -

Monday to Wednesday  Afternoons- 12noon - 3.00pm.

Monday - Wednesday Evenings. 6.30pm - 10.00pm.

Thursday Afternoon. 12 noon - 4.00pm. Evenings CLOSED.

Friday. All Day 12 noon - 10.00PM - 11.00 If Entertainment Is On.

Saturday. All Day 12 noon - 10.00pm - 11.00pm If Entertainment Is On. 

Sunday 12 noon - 6.00pm. Closed on Sunday evenings.

Reception

The Reception Desk is open

Monday - Friday 10.00am - 12.00pm and 2.00pm - 4.00pm.

Saturday 10.00am  - 12 noon only.

If The reception desk Is closed, Please enquire at the Bar.

Events & Entertainment

We regularly hold events and entertainment including live music, discos, games nights, open-mic evenings, Christmas and New Year's Eve functions. We also have a popular monthly Quiz Night and weekly BINGO. Non-members are always welcome to attend.
